Supergirl on vuonna 2015 alkanut yhdysvaltalainen draamasarja, joka perustuu DC Comicsin supersankariin Terästyttö. Sarjan kehittivät Ali Adler, Greg Berlanti ja Andrew Kreisberg, ja sen pääosissa näyttelevät Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks ja Jeremy Jordan. Sarja kuuluu Arrowverse-universumiin, johon kuuluvat myös sarjat Arrow, The Flash ja Legends of Tomorrow.
Toukokuussa 2016 Warner Bros. ilmoitti sarjan saaneen tilauksen toisesta tuotantokaudesta,[1] ja sen esittäminen alkoi The CW -kanavalla lokakuussa 2016.[2] Kolmannen kauden esittäminen alkoi lokakuussa 2017.[3] Yhteensä sarjaa tuotettiin kuusi kautta.

Vastaanotto
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]- Pilottijakson jälkeen Rotten Tomatoes antoi sille arvosanaksi 97 % ja pisteitä 7.6/10. He ylistivät Melissa Benoistin osuvuutta Terästytön rooliin ja pitivät sarjan perheystävällisestä lähestymistavasta sarjakuvien tapahtumiin.[4]
- Metacritic antoi sarjalle arvosanaksi 75/100, joista suurin osa on myönteisiä arvosteluja.[5]
- IGN:n Cliff Wheatley antoi pilottijaksolle arvosanaksi 7/10 pistettä ylistäen Melissa Benoistin roolisuoritusta Karan roolissa.[6]
