Richard Labunski

Richard Labunski on yhdysvaltalainen kolumnisti ja journalismin professori University of Kentuckyssa. Hänet tunnetaan Yhdysvaltain perustuslain uudistamisen puolustamisesta kirjassaan The Second Constitutional Convention. Hän on äänestäjien välinpitämättömyyden, alhaisen äänestysprosentin ja liiallisen vaalikampanjan rahankulutuksen arvostelija. Labunskin arvostettu James Madison and the Struggle for the Bill of Rights (2006) esittää, että James Madison suhtautui aluksi penseästi Bill of Rightsin lisäämiseen Yhdysvaltain perustuslakiin, mutta puolusti myöhemmin tarmokkaasti kymmentä lisäystä ja työskenteli kovaa niiden sisällyttämiseksi perustuslakiin.
