Foghat on 1971 perustettu brittiläinen rock-yhtye, joka oli suosittu 1970-luvulla. Heidän musiikkinsa on sekoitus southern rockia ja bluesia. Yhtye hajosi 1983 mutta teki comebackin 1990-luvulla. Perustajajäsen Dave Peverett kuoli syöpään helmikuussa 2000. Rod Price kuoli 22. maaliskuuta 2005 vammoihinsa, joita hän sai kaatuessaan portaissa. Yhtyeen suosituimpia kappaleita ovat "I Just Want to Make Love to You", "Fool for the City" ja varsinkin "Slow Ride". Yhtyeen esikoisalbumia vuodelta 1972 on kutsuttu Rockin helmeksi.
