Tuoreet muutokset

• Voit saada ilmoituksen, kun luomasi sivua on yhdistetty Wikidata-kohteeseen. Voit valita asetuksistasi haluatko näistä ilmoituksen. Joissakin wikeissä oli jo tämä toiminto. Se on nyt kaikissa wikeissä. [1]

• MediaWikin uusi versio otetaan käyttöön testiwikeissä ja MediaWiki.orgissa 12. syyskuuta. Se otetaan käyttöön kaikissa ei-Wikipedia-wikeissä ja joissakin Wikipedioissa 13. syyskuuta. Se on käytössä kaikissa wikeissä 14. syyskuuta (kalenteri).
• OOjs UI päivitetään. Tämä saattaa vaikuttaa joihinkin kuvakkeisiin. Lue lisää muutoksista.

• You can join the technical advice meeting on IRC. During the meeting, volunteer developers can ask for advice. The meeting will be on 13 syyskuun at 15:00 (UTC). See how to join.

Tulevia muutoksia

• You can't use OCG to create PDFs after 1 October. This is because of technical problems. You can use Electron instead. Most PDFs are already created with Electron. Electron will get missing features before 1 October. You can create books but they will not have all planned features until November or December. You can read more on mediawiki.org.
• Uudet suodattimet muutosten tarkasteluun ovat nyt saatavilla tuoreissa muutoksissa beeta-ominaisuutena. Jotkin noista suodattimista ja muista toiminnoista otetaan käyttöön oletustoimintoina tulevien viikkojen aikana. Käyttäjät voivat kieltäytyä siitä asetuksissaan. [5]

• Wikitext syntax highlighting is a beta feature on Wikimedia wikis with text written from left to right. This beta feature is based on CodeMirror. You can now search through the entire article with CTRL+F or cmd+F when you edit. Before it just searched through a part of the article. The developers are also fixing a couple of other bugs. [9][10]
• Ylläpitäjät voivat nyt luoda ja siirtää Structured Discussions -palstoja wikeissä, jotka käyttävät Structured Discussions -toimintoa betana tai oletuksena. Structured Discussions oli aiemmalta nimeltään Flow. [11]

Ongelmat

Tuoreet muutokset

• Visuaalisella muokkaimella mallinetta muokatessasi se seuraa mallineen format-asetusta ja muotoilee mallineen asetuksen mukaiseksi. Voit nyt muuttaa muotoa useammalla tavalla, jos wikisi niin haluaa. [23][24]
• TwoColConflict-laajennos on uusi tapa ratkaista muokkausristiriidat. Sen avulla on helpompaa kopioida ja liittää haluttu teksti tekstikenttään. Se on ollut betatoimintona viimeiset viisi kuukautta. • Wikidata's birthday
• The fifth anniversary of Wikidata was celebrated, as every year, with a lot of presents, events and stories. You can find an overview on the birthday page.
