Malcolm Muggeridge
Thomas Malcolm Muggeridge (24. maaliskuuta 1903 Croydon, Englanti[1]– 14. marraskuuta 1990) oli brittiläinen journalisti, kirjailija, satiirikko, mediahenkilö, sota-aikainen vakooja ja entinen ateisti, joka kääntyi katoliseksi kirjoittajaksi.
Hänen isänsä oli sosialistipoliitikko H. T. Muggeridge.
Muggeridge oli nuorena kommunisti ja muutti 1930-luvulla vaimoineen Neuvostoliittoon. Hän raportoi Manchester Guardianin Neuvostoliiton 1930-luvun nälänhädästä ja kertoi myös kannibalismista ja tilanteen hallinnasta asevoimin ja joukkoteloituksista. Tämän vuoksi hän ei saanut toimittajan töitä vuosiin.[2]
Toisen maailmansodan aikaan hän oli tiedustelujoukoissa ja hänet lähetettiin myöhemmin MI6:n tehtävissä Portugalin Mosambikiin. Myöhemmin hän oli Algerissa yhteysupseerina ranskalaisiin joukkoihin.
Hän toimi Edinburghin yliopiston rehtorina vuosina 1966–1969.
