Joel Mokyr

Joel Mokyr

Joel Mokyr (s. 26. heinäkuuta 1946) on yhdysvaltalais-israelilainen taloushistorioitsija. Hän toimii taloustieteen ja historian professorina (Robert H. Strotz Professor) Northwestern-yliopistossa. Mokyr väitteli tohtoriksi Yalen yliopistosta vuonna 1974 ja on tehnyt akateemisen uransa pääosin Northwestern-yliopistossa.

Mokyr on johtavia teknologisen kehityksen ja teollisen vallankumouksen tutkijoita. Hänelle myönnettiin Balzanin palkinto vuonna 2015.
