Alone in the Dark on ranskalaisen Infogramesin kehittämä kauhupelisarja, jonka ensimmäinen osa julkaistiin vuonna 1992. Peli yhdisteli 3D-animoituja hahmoja perinteisiin bittikarttataustoihin. Alone in the Darkin juonessa on vaikutteita muun muassa H. P. Lovecraftin luomasta Cthulhu-mytologiasta.

THQ Nordic osti pelisarjan oikeudet vuonna 2018.

Elokuvat

Vuonna 2005 ilmestyi Uwe Bollin ohjaama, pelisarjaan pohjautuva Alone in the Dark -elokuva, jolla oli juonellisesti hyvin vähän yhteistä pelisarjan kanssa. Vuonna 2008 ilmestyi elokuvan jatko-osa, Alone in the Dark 2.
